Is there such a thing as a digital camera that can be set to
continuously take (still, multi-megapixel) photos at a specified time
interval, e.g., every 10 seconds, either for a specified total number
of photos or until memory runs out.

I am thinking that if there is a camera with such a feature and if it
is about 4 oz. or less including battery, this could be an easier way
to do high resolution aerial still photography for platforms with
limited payload capacity (e.g., Draganflyer IV) than having to
improvise mechanical or electronic remote control of the shutter.

Thanks for any pointers/suggestions.

I own a minolta dimage7i which has this capability. However, it's quite
large.
