For Windows 2000 (and it should be much the same for XP) I boot
into DOS .....
What I did was make a bootable CD ROM from www.freeDOS.org and
change the BIOS to look for and boot from a CD ROM first. That
gets you booted into DOS, which CSM is happy with. (XP is totally
ignored by doing this)
I can then look on the hard drive and find the files in a
directory that I have made with the CSM simulator in it and run
aero10.exe or whatever.
You may also need to load a DOS mousedriver to get your rodent
active in DOS mode .....
There probably is an easier way but this works for me. The basic
problem I had was having enough memory in DOS mode (550 k plus) to
allow the sim to run.

(PS - Windows 95 and 98 have DOS lurking in the background, W2000
and XP do not have this - I understand this the cause of the
grief - but I could be wrong !)
(PPS - otherwise you can install a dual boot system ..... W98 and
XP .....)
