Can someone clarify whether I need to enter any revo mixing on my
transmitter or will the gyro compensate for
this especially if its a heading hold gyro.Thanks.

You dont need revomixing for a heading hold gyro read the instructions for
you gyro and it should confirm this

Gee, I don't know Beav! Some might think you're being a little vague here.
Do you think you could be "little" more specific? <BG>

Yeah I agree, statements like "you SHOULDN'T use it at all" , "Not "how
little or how much", not AT ALL.

and "You shouldn't use ANY mixing, any trim off-set, any sub-trim or
anything else "trim" with the tail if the gyro has heading hold. Turn
EVERYTHING OFF"

Are all a bit ambiguous aren't they? LOL

If there's one thing I like Steve, it's ambiguity. I think:)

Yeah, but if he's being honest, his heli wouldn't have started, so I think
he's fibbing:-)

After shutting it down on the last flight, the throttle would still be
closed so he'd have burned his starter out before it fired:-))

Well, I do set the throttle up so I can shut it down from the transmitter.
In fact, that's what I always do at the end of a flight, clamp off the fuel
and trim the throttle down to kill it when the engine starts to lean out. I
just don't leave the throttle in the trimmed down position when I turn off
the radio. It might not be the abolute best way to do things but I'm used
to it and it works for me.

It's been a "very" long time since I've tried to start the engine with the
radio (transmitter or receiver) off. Of course, now that I've said that,
I'll probably do it tomorrow! ;-)

I'm just a lazy bleeder Steve. The throttle kills the motor and then the
heli's picked up and dropped in the car for next time:-) One of these days
I'll actually check it out before flying too :-)))
