Greg,
Was there an 'incident' in which the shaft was hit with
high torque, like the motor accidently receiving full battery voltage
for an instant? This happened on my Piccolo, and it caused a hairline,
lengthwise split in the 'grain' of the CF shaft, causing it to run out
of true. The only fix was to replace it.
Kept the old shaft though, split it in two down the
middle, and it made dandy wing struts for another project.
