The clutch shoes are probably junk now. The shoes are
slipping inside the clutch bell and "melting". If they
use a spring to disengage, it might be broken. Replace the
shoes & spring; scuff the clutch bell slightly before re-
installing. After the truck is running again, try to avoid
spilling fuel or afterrun oil on the clutch. Also, be sure
the slipper clutch is adjusted properly (if the truck has
one).
