Hey there i think you dont find it because of the PRO CAR.
its just Flash 4 . maybe they sell only the flash 5 now.
The trick to use channel 3 and 4 is to set it op in air mode.
hold 2 upper buttons right of the display, and switsh it on. now you have
an extra menu for settings.
or
hold 2 lowest buttons right of the display, and switsh it on. now you have
an extra menu for car aircraft and stick mode.
Use the up down to navigate trough the settings and the leftside leftright
trims to step trought the options on the display.
righthand leftricht trim to adjust values.
To be fair i dont thick you have a 3rd channel in CAR Mode.
i use the transmitter for car and plaine. for +-2 years now.
Wath is your goal with a 3rd channel ?

I want it to activate the reverse gear on my t-maxx. I can change it in the
menu mode by rev/norm switching, but I cant use it in normal mode.
The sticker says " flash 4 pro car "
Still, armed with this new info i`ll try again.
.................................................. ..............
Ive switched it to air mode and it appears there are 5 channels available!
so how do i use 3,4,5? This seems quite a cool transmitter ;-)
Thanks

i have looked for a manual en found this.
http://www.hitecrcd.com/HitecCatalog.pdf
The links manual coms close to yours. because the parallel between the
flash 4 and 5.
Also i have looked into my manual, it came with one from the flash 5 and
the pro-car flash 4.
in car mode you have only 2 channels.
cant help it!
Use your transmitter in acro mode, you have some extra setting like
exponential, wish imo better than the curvemixin VPM CVM
settings
Good luck
