I was looking at the Art Hobby planes and am thinking of getting the Boar and was wondering what the difference would be between flying the straight wing and the poly wing?? will one have any advantages over the other??

I flew my buddies Boar (straight wing) in CO. It was really a delight to fly. Think you would enjoy this plane alot. Let us know which you go with.

Thanks for the reply KevinW... I'm leaning more toward the straight wing Boar.. I was just wondering how different the flight characteristics would be between the two.

The straight-wing Boar has much less dihedral and will have less yaw-roll coupling, so you need to use the ailerons to turn. It will also be less spirally stable, so you will have to pay attention to keep the bank angle where you want it in a thermal turn. The poly wing will be more stable and easier to fly. If I were flying mostly from a slope, I'd get the straight-winged Boar. If I were mostly thermalling, I'd get the poly Boar.
