View Full Version : Hurry up Revo!

Living in Canada, I don't have the luxury of 12 months/year nice warm
weather. I held off buying a nitro
truck last year because it was already getting into fall and I wasn't sure
of what I wanted yet. I've been
out of the hobby for many years now and am only coming back into it because
I want a nitro truck. The Revo
has caught my fancy, but if the truck isn't out here before end of august,
then I guess I'll wait another
year. I know the official release is June, but I'm betting demand will keep
supplies short for a while.

I know how you feel....went through the same thing when I bought my first
Savage!

The latest news my hobby shop has is the Revo will be shipped sometime mid
July :(

The Losi monster truck is also very late arriving! They release all these
reports in hopes of trying to keep you from buying something else. Meanwhile
your NOT having any fun! Surely is not a nice scenario.

I have owned a Terra Crusher and 2 Savages and although I now own a Savage
and love it, if I were you, I would just wait and get the Revo. It really
does look like an awesome truck!

Hang in there! Lenny

I've got my name down for one at the local hobby shop so it's just
a matter of waiting. They are not going to order any more T-MAXX
trucks until they find out how available the Revo is going to be. I guess
they think that nobody will want the Maxx if the Revo is only a bit more
money and a better truck. Right now there is NOTHING to buy locally.
They had a Savage 21, bit it got sold too....

The latest word from Traxxas is that Revo will be in their warehouse
by late June as planned. From there to distribution and to the LHS.

My bet is that the first wave will be in people's hands in very early
July.

My local hobby shop told me the other day that the Revo will be delayed
for them. They will be ordering more T-Maxx's for now because they have
no stock of Nitro trucks and were waiting on the Revo. Since it's a smaller
hobby
story and we're also in Canada, I expect that first shipments won't find
their
way here. I'll still wait and am in no rush. I just bought a new pinball
machine
so I gotta pay for that now. :)
