buy from where the majority of racers at your track buy from.

Thank's to all who responded.

It would seem that my Local Hobby Shop - Race Track has the lowest price on
the kit that I am looking at. I figured that a big name like Tower or Hobby
Town would have lower prices just based on buying bulk. I'm going to buy my
kit in about 2 weeks when I save up some more money.

My closet track (The Sugar Bowl, @ Sugar Hill, GA) was $10 or $20 cheaper on
my 2.5 TMaxx than the closest HobbyTown USA, I'm thinking low over-head for
the track's store allows them to not need as much profit from such items and
they can sell them a bit cheaper to get the business.

Maybe Tower beats your LHS on price, but they won't match your LHS for
delivery time or service. You can also bug the guys there with questions,
and you can meet with other people from around your town who also like to
play around with RCs.

The only thing is that if your LHS owner is a jerk, then don't even bother
with him other than finding good deals. All the advantages of a Local Hobby
Shop are wasted if he chases away all the other RCers.

them out,and keep them open.
