Alouette pilot ?

Hi all,


Can anybody help me?

I am trying to find a web site, where I can buy a VERY good quality model pilot doll for the Vario Alouette II, I am just about to buy. The heli does come with a pilot, but its a Vario one, and I do not like the very doll like look of it !!

The scale of the machine is 1/8th so I am looking for a doll of about 210mm ( 8 inches ). I have been looking for days on the net and not found anthing right yet. :(

Hi Sunbeam! I was wondering if you ever found a pilot? I have also been searching on the net for one just like you described, good quality, 8" tall. It's for a Hirobo Lama (30 Scale). Can you give me any pointers, or did you strike out completely?

I use a medium size Actionman in my 30 size helis. I don't know if you can get them over there, but here in oz they come in 3 sizes, 1/10th, 1/8th and 1/6th scale approx. All but smallest scale have cloth outfits. I think there is a US coastguard version (flight suit, helmet etc) available.

You might find them in big toy stores, but usually you have to go to a place that stocks the 'collectors' versions. Why anyone would collect Actionman I don't know.

Yes I did find some pilots but they are to small for my Vario, would be perfect for a 30 size thought. I am selling them on Ebay now,

HI ROB - Did you call Vario in ENGLAND ? John (in Vario) is very useful mane. Vario
have few pilots they will fit your scale. Order 1/14 - pilot Thomas, Order 1/4 - pilot Alexander Order 1/15 - pilot Michael all these pilots are 210mm
