I know I've read about this before, but I can't find the thread now.

What causes a rudder to turn a plane in the opposite direction of input? The controls are correctly setup. In flight, when I give left rudder, the plane wants to turn right. Right rudder, it wants to turn left.

I'm flying a scratch-built Cap232.

It sounds like you have rudder induced rolling. I understand that this is often found in low wing designs with no dihedral. The answer is to put just enough dihedral into the model so that it does not roll with rudder. Or you can try mixing in some aileron to act like dihedral.

Well, that's what I've got.........low wing with no dihedral. I can put in a degree and see if that corrects it.
Thanks for the info!
