Hi clever guys
Does anybody know of a circuit for a "fail safe"switch? I have heard of a commercial unit for sale in Australia. It switches on by removing a jack plug, and if any component fails in the switch it remains on. Any help would be appreciated.

A lot of glow pilots flying big expensive birds just use two normal switches in parallel. If one goes, the circuit is still good.

Hi Alain
Many thanks for the info, regarding the switch. I have now got to find a way to get it translated into English to make sure it will cope with the number of servos that I intend to use.

Take a look at www.delemarre.ciscon.nl and the five volt regulator. |This has what you are/were looking for...

I hope to have some details up on my webpage soon re: building your own 3 amp Voltage Regulator (adjustable), which also incorporates a fail-safe switch (switch actually turns the regulator off, not on).
Check it out here! (http://www.laureanno.com/RC/Regulator.html)
