Kyosho Jet Stream 1000 Questions???

Hello, I am new to the boat thing..actually I am building a Kyosho Jet Stream 1000 with the GT32 pull start engine for my nephew and we are done except trim/stickers and getting the motor to run correctly!

- Is the prop spoposed to turn so fast during the neutral position on the throttle servo? If so, how do you get the boat to slow down and stop when you want to bring it in to refuel?
- When we pull the started it is very difficuilt to pull ans only one out of 15 pulls seems ok and will start. After several minutes it will just quit for no reason...plenty of fuel in the tank... any ideas?
- also when we get it started and lower it into the water at the center detent on the throttle it immidiatly quits!

Can anyone give us some pointers or direct os to some information on setting up this engine and stuff?

that boat is horrible, it was my first nitro boat and it made me quit boating for 3 years. i finally got enough courage to go boating again. i bought a proboat, thunder cat. just got done breaking it in. no problems whatsoever.

How much is or was a jet Stream 1000?

I know some morons who are selling some rc crap from a dead guy. These retards think a Kyosho JetStream 1000 is worth $800 used. From what little information I've found, it seems to me to be worth "not much at all"...

-How much did it sell for new? How much should someone expect to get on a used one 6-8 yrs old?

-Any links or supporting information?
