For all electronic experts in the thread,
I had this receiver for awhile. Rrecently, channel 4 for rudder control is not working at all, while other channels still function properly. Does any one know how to fix it? Any help is great appricated.

Most likely the 74VHC164 decoder IC is damaged. It's the 14 pin chip next to the servo connectors.
They are available from Mouser Electronics (http://www.mouser.com/index.cfm?&handler=data.listcategory&Ntt=FAIRCHILDSEMI+*74VHC164MTC*&Dk=1&terms=FAIRCHILDSEMI+74VHC164MTC&D=FAIRCHILDSEMI&N=0&crc=false).

Or even more simply, something has gone wrong with the connector. Check for dry joints/broken tracks first...

Sometimes a wire may have come off the control pot in the TX, as the wires move with stick movement. I have seen this quite often when radios come into my repair service with this problem. The other posts are also correct. As you can see there are a few possible places to check.
