My mate Scott Lawson but a Spearhead last year, fitted with an S400. The model showed potential, but Scott had issues with the vertical location of the battery; too low and it acted like a pendulum, too high and the model was unstable in roll.

Tonight was the night FINALLY ! This bird flew like an angel.
Bought it used out of FLA its a 1961 Spearhead 1032 with 42" wingspan. Engine 1958 OSMAX II .15. Recovered in 1980 with Monokote. I have another kit NIB that am having conversation with Brian at BMJR Models of the possibility of "remaking" the kit. It would make a GREAT electric for sure
Can't wait until tomorrow night !
