Anyone like to venture an opinion as to how it compares with the
opposition (eg OS, Webra etc). I'm moer interested in its general
throttleability, lack of sudden stops etc than outright power.
Thanks,

I had one, it seemd as good as the OS 50 I had at the same time. Only ever
stopped when told to unless it ran oout of fuel. Good engine.

OK, that sounds useful - I'm just dithering about whether to buy a
raptor 50 kit or the artf including engine. Sounds like the artf if the
TT50 is as good as the OS.

My TT 50 was in a Raptor 50 mk 1. I flew it originally with an OS 46; the TT
was a much better engine. I hope to get another R50 before the end of the
year and would cetainly buy another TT 50 to go with it. The ARF seems a
better buy, I recently bought an R30 V2 ARF for only a little more than the
basic kit, and it had the full bearing upgrade and the engine. Saved at
least 100? over the cost of buying each individually.
