I have a partial kit for the artesania lantia eileen/RC. It is missing the keel , bulkheads, and other structural parts . I would like to make these parts and build the model . I am looking for some help in geting started. I live in Vancouver WA are there any clubs I visit in this area to talk with some one?

Jas, If memory serves, the "Eileen" is the wood hulled predacessor of the "Hellen"? To make the parts, you'll first need patterns to cut them from. Do the plans include patterns for the keel and each frame, or possably a parts ID sheet that could be enlarged proportionately to use for patterns? Anyhow, once you have a useable set of cutting patterns, the parts are cut from stock wood using a band, or scroll saw.

You could probably talk to me. ;)
I am in Beaverton Oregon.
If you have a good set of plans, then the kit can probably be completed.

If you haven't got the plans with the bulkheads, and if they are the same as the Hamburg (anyone know?), I can copy the drawings for the Hamburg bulkheads to you.
