From experience, what size of battery, remembering the possible limited
space available in most yachts,
would you use to power the sail and rudder servos.
Obviously, they cannot be too large nor can they have a limited in service
life (amp hrs)
What voltage 12V 9V or 6V?

I have not decided on my sail areas yet but possibly Main 1680 sq cm (245 sq
in); Jib 900 sq cm (140 sq in)
as a guide - certainly not larger that these sizes.
The overall length of the yacht is 91/92 cm (36 inches)

Any information gained from your practical experience would be welcome
( no doubt useful to others as well)

Thanks: Robin

Use 5 cell flight packs (6v). The receiver will be OK on this and you
will be able to sail for hours on a 1000mAH pack.
