Hi,
I'm very close to buying the following cable for my JR XF622 Radio: http://www.milehighwings.com/joystick_cables.htm
I have a game port on my sound card, running Windows 2000, Radeon 9800, 1 gig of RAM.
I just want to get into SIMS without have to spend an arm and a leg. Thanks for any advise.

Aeropal,
Thanks for your reply!
I've looked into it and it seems that the only work-around is to use the latest Beta version of FMS and disable True Alpha in the Game Settings.
I got some feedback from the site selling these cables and they are faster to sell the USB (more $$).
I really would like to know if anyone is using the GamePort version on a SoundBlaster Audigy X-Gamer game port, with Windows 2000??????? Any issues?????
Thanks,
Lex

Lex...
You might want to take a look at SmartPropo and give it a try... With the Jr transmitter all it will take is an audio cable with an 1/8" plug on each end...
I was a bit skeptical at first but cobbled a cable together for my Futaba 7C and loaded the software and it is working super with FMS on my Win XP Pro system...
You probably have the cable on hand so you might want to try the free approach first... Take care and have fun...
