Timing & Frequency for Hacker/Mega?

Is there a preferred timing and/or frequency setting for the Hacker B20 and Mega 16/15/x series.

Does the 2-pole/6-pole designs make a difference in these settings?


Also, what is the most efficient setting for each of those motor types? (I'm after the highest RPM for the least watts. I can choose the correct wind to match the prop/edf, rather than throwing more power at the motor)

Most efficient for watts to rpm will be the low timing advance for both motors.

The mega will not benefit from a higher switching freq - the B20 may, depending on the wind (higher Kv = more likely to benefit).
