Nominations for elected AMA officials are due IN Muncie no later than June 2, 2004. Leave a few days for time in the Mail.
This year, elections will take place for AMA President, and Vice Presidents in Districts I, V, and IX. Candidate’s acceptance and resume must be on file, in Muncie, no later than June 16, 2004.
The qualifications for President:
To be eligible to discharge the duties of AMA President, a nominee must be a Leader member of the AMA and must previously have served as a member of the Executive Council or as Associate Vice President or as a Contest Board member for at least one year.
The qualifications for Vice President:
To be eligible to discharge the duties of an elected AMA officer other than President, a nominee must be a Leader member of the AMA.

Russ Miller, D IX VP, has announced he will not seek re-election.
The nomination for President may be made by an open member of the AMA. Vice Presidential nominations may be made by any open member that is a legal resident of the district
