Can anyone recommend a good source for tape on nose skegs that will fit the Graphite 3.1? Would also appreciate any reference articles on making one from composites.

Thanks.

I usually just make my own, that way they fit the fuse really nicely.

1. tape on some saran wrap, or packing tape, or anything that will keep the resin from sticking to your fuse.
2. make a nice skeg shape out of G10 or PCB material.
3. Build a base first, 1 layer of 2oz glass following by a layer of ~6oz carbon.
4. Next I epoxy the skeg to the base building up a nice fillet with resin mixed with some West high density filler.
5. I put a piece of ~6oz carbon on each side of the skeg, then another layer of 2oz glass over that.
6. Sand and paint (you can fill if you want to make it pretty).

anyway that's how I do mine...

Hello Clay,
I would like to recommend Tim McCann from Superskegs.
I purchased from him last month and had great service!
He has also achieved his level V from LSF
