At the recent EC meeting, the subject of protecting clubs from chartering new clubs within three miles of existing clubs was addressed. A requirement for all clubs to submit coordinates for their fields was passed by the EC, effective with 2005 charter renewals. This was a subject discussed here recently. Hopefully, existing clubs will be protected and not be subjected to frequency sharing agreements... if they submit the coordinates.

Lois Pierce at AMA HQ is the club secretary and you can submit it to her. The item will not become a requirement until 2005 charter renewal and there will be a request in the package for the information.
Lois's e-mail is loisp@modelaircraft.org or you can call her. The phone is on the AMA site under contact staff.

Don't forget the requirement that all clubs have a Field Safety Officer WITH E-MAIL capabilities. Unless I have read the minutes and some e-mail wrong, failure to have that person identified WILL result in non-charter action.
