would any body be intrested in a hobie hawk that is damaged

the left wing is snaped about 8 inches from the root, the break is clean and could easyaly be fixed and ther is a crack in the paint where the two different materials meet. im just not in to the thermal flying any more i fly all slope now. I purchesed it brand new in the 80's and i am the original owner

Sure would like to see some pictures showing the extent of the damage and overall condition of the rest of the Hobie Hawk. Pictures would help your sale.

I recently sold an original Hawk,purchased when they first came out. In the box with only some prelim work done on my part. The first kits had the wing cutouts that where very shaggy and needed to be sanded clean and smooth. I added the tips to wing and horz. stab. It was ready to be covered. The customer asked what I wanted for it. I said make me an offer. $300!! He was very happy that I had done the work. Mods have been done to take out some of the squirrelliness out of the originals,maybe someone could post them.
