Folks,
A couple months ago, I purchased a Premier Balsa Products Topaz II kit off
Ebay.
I think I'm ready to start building it, however I'd like to solicit some
modification suggestions, to try to strengthen the sailplane without adding
much (any, ideally!) weight.
All of the servos are mounted in the fuselage; none are in the wing.
I verified that the wing spars are spruce strips (some are 6mm x 6mm, some
are 3mm x 6 mm). I imagine that it'd be better to use carbon fiber spars,
yes?
Anyway - I'm up for any suggestions that you may have. This looks like
it'll be a beautiful ship once complete, if I do it right. :-)
