View Full Version : Marine 4 Stroke are there any?

i have done a little looking and haven't seen any yet
just wondering if anyone else has?

No size in mind just a Marine(water cooled) 4 Stroke ;)

I've seen very few, they're pretty rare. I think that O.S. made some. There was one on eBay a few months ago, just water cooling around the cylinder, nothing on the head.

O.S. has in the past made 4 stroke marine engines, but I just went to thier website and they currently don't list any. The one I have is a FS60 (the one with the open rocker arms) so it probably hasn't been made for a while.

The problem for boats is that most people by engines for out-and-out power. If you're interest is scale or sports running most use electric. 4 strokes are at a disadvantage in power/capacity against 2 strokes.
