Engine temps

I have a fwe nitro truck engines that I run in the 200-250 temp range .What range should I run my AUQUA JET when i get it broken in ?.Thanks!.

Are you measuring at the glow plug? I used to run my nitro trucks in the 235 range. For breaking in, you want the motor to be rich which translates into a cooler running motor. Not to many boaters are using temp guns right now but I'd like to give them a shot myself. i'd say to get it around 200-210 on the early runs then slowly bring them up to temp. some are running them up to 250 at the plug as we have water cooling.
