I have used Autocad and TurboCad and like them both for 2D stuff, but right now TurboCad 10 deluxe is on sale from $150 down to $50 dollars! for previous registered users/owners only I have been interested in learning 3D for some time now, but my AutoCad program is about 5 years old and does not have much for 3D I think. So I am interested in three things.
If you have experience in 3D in TurboCad, please explain how well that works (ease of use, functionality, editing, dimensioning, rendering, viewing options, etc.)
If you have experience with some other 3D Cad program, please offer suggestions for an alternative to TurboCad (hopefully costing similar to TurboCad)
I currently have TurboCad 9 standard edition. I wonder how much difference there is in v.9 standard and v.10 deluxe! I just want the ability to draw in 3D sometimes to make some presentations better, and improved concept visualization and development. Like for new RC planes and such.
Thanks in advance for your help.

Sorry for not being more clear, the special $50 price is for previous registered users only. Pretty good incentive to stick with their product, hu? ;)

Thanks Andy. That may help (especially if I could only find the time to investigate more). I was hoping for some experienced info on what program is better for 3D, or how good the 3D is on TurboCad that I already have. Although I have it, I have no experience using 3D, just 2D.

Same here. I think 3D is for guys who can loft them in their minds.
