Jeffs555 made an interesting observation, which if I read it correctly means that new radios have to file their schematics with the FCC.

What about creating a sticky in this forum with the FCC IDs (and the FCC link) that do lead to tx and rx schematics?

But... The files can be made confidential :(.

Anyway, here's the FCC's Equipment Authorization (https://gullfoss2.fcc.gov/prod/oet/cf/eas/reports/GenericSearch.cfm?calledFromFrame=N) search page.

Just enter the Applicant Name of your favourite manufacturer, eg. GRAND WING SERVO.

You should get a list of all the equipment that has been submitted. Only the FCC ID is shown, but you can probably guess what model it refers to. If any files are available they will be in the Exhibits List, eg.

The GWT-4AII transmitter (https://gullfoss2.fcc.gov/prod/oet/cf/eas/reports/ViewExhibitReport.cfm?mode=Exhibits&RequestTimeout=500&calledFromFrame=N&application_id=326032&fcc_id='P8OGWT-4A2-72')

Schematics? No, but some nice pictures of the circuit board, parts list, tune-up procedure and a test report.

Edit: FCC ID was granted over a year ago, but schematics not published yet

I have read the confidentiality letters to the FCC on the 4 channel GWS/Smartech radio tx and they seem to suggest that the schematics are only confidential until the date when FCC ID is granted. Have I misinterpreted the letters?

Hi; I just buy one second hand GWS T4A2 from e-bay. And I open it and try
to draw some part of the TX schematic. Just share with you all. :)
