Hi Gang,
Is there some way to prevent your high speed needle from vibrating around
and loosening itself?
I thought of thread lock hahaha, but I guess it would drip down and block
the spray bar.
Any ideas?

There should be a spring around your high-speed needle, just under the
screw-head.
Most carbs I've ever seen are set up that way. The spring provides tension on
the threads, to hold the needle setting.
Mind you... those things can still move a little, even with the tension spring
in place, but it's usually minimal.
If yours doesn't have a spring, it should be a simple matter to get one.
Your LHS should be able to sell you one, or if not, hit the hardware store.
The hobby shop would be my first choice. If they don't have one in stock, they
could take one from an old engine.
Heck, I got so many old engines lying around here, if ya can't find the
right spring, send me an address and I will mail you one.
May take a little longer, but ya can't beat the price. ;-)

Thread lock (blue) is a great idea providing you use a tiny TINY bit
of it. Only, I don't know if the fuel will break it down. Another
thing you could try is a heavy diff grease. That should solve the
problem at least for a little while.
