If there a way to build something like this small and cheap?
I just built a plane that only needs a max of 4 amps, I am using a set of 2 E-Tec700 cells in 2s and I will be doing a maiden soon, but I was thinking about not having enough voltage. The directions state that I should be using a 8.4v 2/3aaa pack. So the lipos leaves me short on voltage.
Here are my main concerns... I am worried about the ESC's auto cutoff being set wrong. I am using GWS equipment, and they are not set up for LiPo cutoffs and there is no adjusting them to the proper setting.
So, is there a to go to a 3s pack and lowwer the voltage to 8.4 volts so we can save the motor from the extra voltage and not loose the amperage?
