Hi,
I've got a foamie RC airplane model and I wish to add pontoons for convert it into a seaplane.
I would like to add a marine rudder, operate by a submicro servo; for simplicity (the pontoons will be removable) I'm thinking to put the servo on one of the two pontoons. One option is to put all servo INSIDE the float structure, letting just control wire to become wet in wather, but it looks pretty complicated; the other solution is to let the servo arm out the float, but in this way of course it will get wet during take off and landing.
I'm sure you boat enthusiasts knows a lot about wet servos, :D and could tell me if it will be so tremendous if a servo get wet... Fresh wather, by the way!
Thanks a lot for any answer.
