I have just become the owner of a "ATWOOD OUTBOARD - Montrose Calif - 051" that is all thats printed on motor. photo attached.

Does anyone know anything about this motor ? ? $ $

Both Atwood and K&B/Allyn (SeaFury) mass produced 1/2A outboards like the one you have. Generally, the Atwoods are more rare and bring in a few more dollars. I sold a good condition SeaFury single on Ebay two years ago for $160 if I remember correctly. You should be able to get around $200 or so for that Atwood. Ebay can be fickle though. Sometimes the collectors hit it hard and sometimes they don't.

If I remember to, I'll look up the blue book value in a copy of Anderson engine guide tonight.
