View Full Version : Brushless motor for Hornet II

Dear All,

I am building a Hornet II. I suppose to use brushless motor, i saw a cheap
brand Himax brushless motor, could anyone tell me which model are the best
for the Hornet II for 3D and normal flying and also ESC.

From what I have seen, the 2015-4100 would be the way to go. I am building one now and using a Hacker B20-22S with a CC Phoenix 10 BEC.

Question if I uaed a himax or hacker where do you get the 2mm pinion gear
from thanksfor info

you can try to find some have 2.3 mm shaft,

hacker B20 22S is a good choose, how about B20 26S? or other brand?

Use an old cd-rom motor and rewind it. These motors cost next to nothing
(from a scrapped cd-rom player or from www.gobrushless.com).
