I found a mode 1 9C radio with S9001 servos for $475 from RC Mushroom.
They provide a service to switch it to mode 2 for $20, so for a 9C
mode 2 radio with S9001 servos it comes to $495 plus shipping totals
$541.
However Cyberheli has modes 1, 2, and 3 9C radios with S3001 servos
for $499 plus shipping totals $574.
The difference in shipping still makes the RC Mushroom remote a better
deal money wise.
The question I have is, is the difference between the S9001 and S3001
servos really worth paying $30 less? Also, is them switching the radio
to mode 2 a foolproof operation, in other words, should I feel
comfortable buying a remote that has been messed with?
I have a 30 size Hawk. Please help, I want to get the best deal I can,
but want to get the best equipment I can for my money.
Thanks for all opinions...

Isn't the mode of the Tx switchable in 9C? Just hold the mode & end button
and turn on your Tx...

But he'd still need to swap springs and ratchets though. He just needs to
be aware, but yes, you are correct IIRC

For the H version, there is no ratchet on the throttle/collective
stick, so it's just the return to center that would have to be
swapped.

Yes the Mode of the TX is switchable, just need to do the internal
changeover which is easy enough.
I got my FF9 from Rc Mushroom, Delivered the UK in less than a week. Great
people. If you are worried about the switching modes your self, get RC
mushroom to do it.
Any yes the diffrence between the servos is worth paying, the 9001 are alot
smoother and accurate.
Cheers
