Unfortunately this thread, for some unknown reason, has been
crossposted to the uk.radio.amateur newsgroup, where foul language
has become the norm since the powers-that-be saw fit to amalgamate the
former Amateur Radio service with CB radio (against the wishes of the
majority of long-standing radio amateurs). I am sorry that you have
had the misfortune to "overhear" some of the exchanges.
