THIS WOULD BE GREAT IF TODAY WAS NOT THE FIRST OF APRIL.
But , it is still a great website, read the specifications, It makes you
want to build that cheap flyer for your front yard.

Cute.
I wonder if they considered interference from wireless LANs, microwave
ovens, ISM video links, and hams who are allowed 1500W in close bands.

Not so much that they could send false signals, as the fact that strong
signals on nearby frequencies can overload the receiver and shut it down.

No reason it can't be done, but you do want to be aware of the particular problems in that band. Foliage absorption is an issue you won't have at 72 MHz.

WiFi, April Fool or pipe dream, spectrum crowding is not an issue with spread spectrum communication. The transmit spectrum of each emitter is spread out over a wide chunk of frequencies, each transmitter with a random and unique spreading code process. Each recoverable spectral line is essentially down near the noise level (near being a relative term), such that the typical power level interference with AM and FM is not an issue. That's what makes spread systems so desireable - efficient use of spectrum. As long as my spreading code is different from your cell phone and Mabel's garage door opener, and Hank's wireless Palm, nodoby gets hit and everybody's happy. The time diversity of each emitter's spectral lines relative to any other emitter at that instant nearly ensures non-interference. If interference does occur it is so brief and transient that recovery is virtually instantaneous (typically one symbol time - milliseconds). That's why the system in question states its receiver sensitivity in terms of bit error rate - they're intimately entwined.

Go back and read my original post regarding issues with this system. It's not ready for small planes yet.
