Tamiya Fox pinion gear

Hi. I am trying to get my old fox running again after about 15 years of
sitting around collecting dust.
I have been looking on the tower hobbies site for a pinion gear "18t" but I
dont know the "p" I guess that means pitch ? Can anybody help ?
Also looking to get 3 batteries and a new high speed motor. Any suggestions
?

Also looking to make this a "DRAG" racer, any ideas on locking the
differential gear and resistor replacement.
