For our track we take Losi Pink Taper Pins, and use a dremel, belt
sander or stone wheel and take 80% of the tread off of them. the track
won't allow a tru slick, you need to have "some" tread on your rear
tires.

I think the OP needs to tell us how and where he's running his vehicle.

We use Losi Pink Taper Pins with grey foam (the grey foam is key!) for a
hard
packed clay track which gets dry towards the end of the night.

What is the deal with grey foam? Softer? Harder? Less filling, tastes
great? {8^P
