I am after a good spec radio to use with my 1:5 scale saloon car.
Is the 3PK a good choice ??
I a used to fly helis until recently & i used the Futaba 9Z for those & i am
after a similar top spec radio for the cars.
What do you think.

The 3PK is an excellent choice.
It has very well thought out brake mixing to allow you to properly adjust
front/rear bias and overall brake power while driving.
This is the sole reason I switch from an R1. The R1 is still an excellent
radio, but very awkward to set up for a 1/5 scale with independant brakes.
