Hobie Hawk 30 year and RES competition!

OK Hobie Hawk fans,

The date for the 30 year Hobie Hawk anniversary is going to be Sunday May 2nd at the Powey field in Southern CA.

Along with the regular RES competition we will try to have some other fun events as well.

Any RES (rudder elevator spoiler) plane are welcome, particularly any nostagia type ships would be great! This is going to be a fun event.

Dust off that Hobie Hawk or other nostalgic plane and come on out! Here is the link to the Torrey Pines Gulls site with more info:

No ,it was taken at a hill we used to fly at called via verde,where the 210 and 10 fwy meet in socal,houses there now,pic was taken about 1980..Dennis
