Hi,
I was looking into getting a boat a few years ago. I looked at the Great
Planes Stinger SS. It looked like it had the potential to be pretty fast
with the twin motor drive. Now this boat is discontinued. Does anyone know
where I can get a kit? Is this a good beginner boat? Do you have any other
suggestions on beginner boats to get? Thanks.

It was a flimsy, poor design. The fastest larger (27" or bigger) rtr boat these days are running 700 motors on 12-16cells. Capable of running 20-30 mph, verified with gps.

Hi,
What would be a good beginner's v-hull boat. I would rather build from a
kit than buy RTR. I have radio equipment from my stadium truck so I would
just have to buy an ESC and reciever. Let me know what you would recommend
as a good first boat.
