Hi,

I have been flying the hummingbird for about a week now, about 10 mins
a day, it hs a 370 motor, and it started losing altitude, I then
noticed it was very hot, and has now died altogether.
I am running Lithium ion batteries (3 cell 10.8V 1.4A)

Can anyone suggest a better motor for this please that is likely to
last longer than an hour or so of running.

Thanks

Apart from going brushless, I would reccomend the "Acro 280 bb", lots more
power and
longer flight times..

If you want loads on info on this type of micro heli, visit
www.rcuniverse.com and look
in the electric heli forums - hundreds of posts everyday..

Check out the 6 volt version of the Graupner Speed 300. I've tried a few
different motors in my Hummingbird including the 280BB but so far my
favourite brushed motor is still the Speed 300. I am totally satisfied with
the performance when a Speed 300 is fitted; it is quite a powerful motor,
it is cheap (about half the cost of the 370) and lasts quite a long time.
