Hi guys,
Before I managed to put a dent in my tail boom today I did actually have a
fly around. I have just fitted a new tail servo to my Raptor 30 V1, the
Futaba S9253 (which I got from Skyline models at a much more reasonable
price than other company's are offering!)
I am using a CSM 400 gyro with a Futaba T9CP radio. I also have the Quick
push rod and boom mounted servo kit. I expected to find that this new set up
would be a big improvement over my old set up however, while the tail is now
more crisp and responsive I was able to increase the gain more and more in
both modes until I got to 100% sensitivity with hardly and tail wag. Is this
correct? I expected to have to crank the gain down from my previous settings
as the new servo would be so much more sensitive.
I have checked the linkages and everything is running smooth, anything else
I can try?
Harry
