I did try a few rolls last time up at the gliding club, they were, however,
of the swiss variety and damn fine they were too. :-)
All I've done is a few stall turns and loops (which do indeed prove to be
less stressful in "idle up" rather than "normal" mode)
I'm a bit of a chicken with the heli just now and am really just trying to
get it to behave with a similar "feel" to the FMS rappy rather than actually
banging it about.
The link re-positioning has it pretty close to the simulator feel, it's just
a _wee_ bit slower in roll / pitch than the simulator now.
It's much easier to hover than the sim so maybe the sim version is based on
a rappy with light paddles.

yet another question, the flybar clunks on the top of the oval link arms
when you "shoogle" the flybar on the deck.
( the movement of the flybar is restricted by fouling the top part of the
oval link arm, it's got a good bit of movement but that is the restricion to
any further movement)
I've looked at the head and it seems the same as all the pictures I've seen.
(as in, the oval links are on the right way up.)
Is this normal?
