Hi, I'm new to this site and was shocked to see so much SPAM is allowed past
the moderator, that's if there is one!
I'm off!!!!

Well, for one, it is not "a site" it is an Usenet newsgroup.

And, like most newfroups, it is un-moderated.

And, more pointedly, if you thing rmrw is full of SPAM, you have not
seen anything!

Go read the stuff in "news.newusers.questions", "news.answers", and the
various other groups in the "news.*" hierarchy for a full explanation of
what a newsgroup is.

Well, for one, it is not "a site" it is an Usenet newsgroup. I didn't know that either! So what about the rc advertisers? Who do they pay to advertise?

I think what was meant to be posted was something like this:

And it appears to have been "Posted from the RCGroups.com Discussion
Forums", who are getting things wrong, again.

Sigh.

Why does this crap leak out into the real Usenet? (Don't answer, the
question was entirely rhetorical)
