There's something very fishy with this one or else the reporter did not have all the facts. 540 mW in and 1.7W out means you could hook the output to the input and then give 'er a spin and you'd have perpetual motion with no battery or other power source at all. Sorry but I'm not buying this one.

They got me all fired up with cold fusion last time and look where that got me. I only got over the depression of that one a few months back.... :D

Maybe I didn't read it close enough, but I didn't see where they were asking for money. These "permanent magnet" scams usually are looking for "investors."

(I liked the part about waving the magnetic wand over the motor to get it going...) I marvel at the journalistic creativity of these folk.

.54W in and 1.7W out? Not a possible outcome under the laws of physics. I smell hoax (or a confused fellow with meters in need of calibration).

If this turn out to be genuine then watch out here com the japanese inventors and the rest of us can give up
