I am looking for an easy to thermal, great handling open class ship. Does anyone have experience with the Mystic? Will it perform in wind also?

Thanks!

Yes i have a Mystic, it has the MH-32 airfoil. It is very good on launch ,it will gain about 200 ft on the zoom. it handles the wind very good. It is not for the beginner but should be competive in the hands of an experinced flyer. I just finished my AVA whitch i will compete with this season. The Mystic is a little hard for me to see when it gets far out as senior age is affecting my eyesight. mine is for sale at a good price if you are intrested.

Thanks, Charlie. How does it handle in a thermal turn? How much does yours weigh? What servos did you use?

Thanks!

Hi FF,
i completed the Mystic last fall and just got to fly it about 20 times before the weather turned bad. it seemed to do therminal turns very smothly, you have to fly it faster than a 7037 airfoil which i have more experience with as i have been flying a Falcon 880 since late 88.
i have JR 341 servos in the wings, hitec HS-85 bb V-tail and HS 85 mg for flap.
it weighs 42oz ready to fly.
