I just bought a OFNA HYPER 7 PBC PCR. I was told that I should upgrade
to a fm transmitter. What are the differances and the benifits of an
fm transmitter?

Theoretically a FM system will give you 20% more range than an AM
system, and you theoretically will have less chance of radio glitches.
Depending on where you bash or race most likely the vehicle would be so
far away that you couldn't control it if you went to the end of the
range of an AM or an FM radio system because you couldn't see it.
I live in a city, and when I went to FM from AM what I saw was less
radio glitches when the car was near high power lines.

When racing my weakest link is my brain. I know what I want the truck
to do on the track it's that my hands just won't do what I will them to
do.

I noticed that when i switched from FM to PCM too (JR R-756). But FM to PCM
isnt as much of a difference as AM to FM. Now, just too bad i cant afford an
R233XZ for the hemi coupe 2 i'm going to get.
