I am moving the servos in the WACO Two from the tail to the nose. The V-Tail is a removable one-piece. What is the best way to setup a linkage from the pushrods to the ruddervators so I can easily remove the V-Tail without messing up the trim? There are no control horns on the ruddervators, just small tubes where a large-diameter wire used to connect directly to the servos in the tail.

My advise is don't. If you need information to restore the original designed set up I will be glad to help.
What you propose will just lead to more problems. Every change you make will lead to additional changes. Before long you will paint yourself into a corner.

Hmmm, I'm in too deep now to turn back. Time/money/epoxy wise.;)
When I create my own problems, I don't mind fixing 'em! Especially if y'all are here to help.:D

I found this somewhere (apologies to the owner - I forgot where) Looks cool, but is the ball-to-control-surface linkage a custom one? Or can I buy it / make it? How is that connected to the control surface?

The nice metric ball connectors like those come from the local hobby shop that sells helicopter parts. The ball gets soldered to tehe wire.
You can also use the DuBro ball ends, they work well, but don't give you all the freedom you might need. DuBro balls fit a 2-56 or 4-40 thread and take up more space.
